2. What is your greatest strength:

                         Give your positive aspects and discuss the attributes that will qualify you for the job. Use the opportunity to stand out amongst the crowd by portraying your strengths in a compelling way.

Eg: I have strong communication skills which help me work well with the people I meet. I have the ability to deal well with customers, clients and executives. I also got awarded as the best worker in the previous company for being an effective team worker and delivering good presentations.

3. What is your greatest weakness:

                         Here, you don’t have to give all the negative answers about yourself. Frame your answers giving positive aspects as an employee. Turn a negative into positive.

Eg: I like to give my best in everything I do and to achieve perfection in my job; I tend to spend a little more time doing it. However, I have learned ways to achieve my best by effectively learning the ways to manage time and balancing perfectionism with it.

4. Why should we hire you? :

                     Be prepared to say why you are the best candidate for the job. The better you explain yourself, the more your chances will be there to get hired.

5. How do you handle the pressure? :

                    If you get asked this question, an interviewer is not expecting you to say you never get stressed under pressure. They want to know how you handle and manage pressure.

Eg: I think I actually work better under pressure. As a writer, I come across many challenges and thrive under deadlines of multiple projects at the same time. I did most of my creative works at the previous company under pressure of quick deadlines.

6. Why did you leave your previous job? :

                    When answering this question, don’t lie. Stay with the facts and craft your answer in a way that shows your leave was voluntary.

Eg: I am looking for a bigger challenge and I want to grow my career. The previous job was a bit monotonous and I couldn’t grow my career aspirations.  So, to achieve more and to face new challenges, I quit the previous job.

7. What are your future goals? :

                    By asking this question, an interviewer wants to know if your plan of joining the company is for a limited time period or stick for long. They also want to know if your career goals are the best fit for the company.
